Prize "Women in Business"

Since 2013, the Minister of Economy and Employment of the Brussels Capital Region, has given special attention to women and employment. In this context, a study on female entrepreneurship was financed. Following this study, conducted by impulse.brussels (Brussels Enterprise Agency - Brussels Agentschap Ondernemen), in cooperation with the Brussels Observatory for Employment (Brussels Observatorium voor de Werkgelegenheid), a first profile was drawn of enterprising women and the inhibiting factors and difficulties that they face. However, certain problems were not addressed, and some findings need to be explored further.

That is why the support platform for female entrepreneurship "Women in Business", animated by impulse.brussels, launches an annual "Women In Business" prize. An amount of € 1.000 will be awarded to the two best dissertations on topics related to female entrepreneurship.
